Hi, I have a PCMCIA ethernet adaptor (model 3CCE589ET) that I am trying to get to run under RedHat 6.1 on a Toshiba Satellite 310CDS. It does not seem to detect correctly. Other PCMCIA cards seem to work fine in this same machine (I have tried a 3C589) but this one doesn't. Frankly, I am not sure if the card is unsupported or broken or what. When I do a 'cardctl status' I get: Socket 0: 5V 16-bit card present Function 0: ready But when I do a 'cardctl ident' I get: Socket 0: No product information available. Am I just out of luck or does someone out there know a solution to my problem? Thanks for any help! --chris |
