Sorry for the incomplete information. The laptop
is an IBM ThinkPad 600E 2645-4A0. Kernel is 2.2.13, 
pcmcia is 3.1.3. I'm running an Halloween-linux which 
is essentially RedHat-6.1. Below you find the complete
