The main problem is that the kernel (and the PCMCIA subsystem) don't know how to assign a PCI interrupt to the CardBus bridge. Your interrupt router is a Toshiba host bridge, and I doubt that Toshiba has released a datasheet. Without that info, there is no way to figure out the PCI interrupt routing. This should be mostly harmless for the standalone PCMCIA driver package, but is fatal for the in-kernel yenta driver, which more or less requires a working PCI interrupt. -- Dave |
