This card absolutely cannot work with the regular pcnet_cs driver. I now have a card that uses the same chipset as this card. The chip has a serious (documented) defect that prevents a normal NE2000 driver from working. I have not yet worked out a way to modify the pcnet_cs driver to support "good" cards as well as these cards. So for now, you are going to have to deal with the card vendor. -- Dave |
