You said that windows config is I/O=360-363 I experienced with a Zenith Data Systems Multimedia Interface card the same problem Windows use I/O=300-303 for CD, and 220-22F for Audio, when ide_cs starts it tries ide_register with this area and a second I/O area 0xa20 (where has it found it?) and fails. Because ide_cs needs 2 I/O areas, the first 8 ports long, and the second 2 ports long, theese CD need a specific driver
