This sounds very much like a hardware failure. If everything used to work, and all you did was a reboot (no software upgrades you're not mentioning), then I don't see how something very basic like powering up the socket could stop working. You could try swapping your cards around, if you haven't already tried that. Also, if you could try testing things under Windows, that would help to pin down whether software or hardware is at fault. -- Dave |
