Ok, if do_scan=0 helps, then I'd replace it with things like: PCIC_OPTS="irq_list=3,4,7,9,10" PCIC_OPTS="irq_list=3,4,7,11,12" PCIC_OPTS="irq_list=3,4,7" until you can get the system to boot cleanly. One or more interrupts is causing a problem at boot time; it also might be the cause of the problem when you insert your card. It might also be a good idea to upgrade to the latest (3.1.19) PCMCIA driver package. -- Dave
