Thanks for the info. I did more checking on the websites
that TI/Acer have for the TravelMate series, and in their
doumentation for setting up a PCMCIA ethernet card, they
say to use the very port that the linux pcmcia package is
picking, so it looks like there's a conflict in their
documentation as well. :-)
Looks like I'm gonna be bugging Acer now. Thanks again!
