The PCMCIA-HOWTO has advice for debugging startup problems with the PCMCIA drivers. You can narrow down the problem by booting with no cards inserted... if you still get a lock-up, the most likely problem is an interrupt probe failure. The HOWTO says how to deal with this. -- Dave |
