Sad: 3Com 562 + Armada 3500

Hi, I upgraded my laptop to a Compaq Armada 3500. Unfortunately, my 3COM 562B network+modem card stopped working. When I start or reset the card I get the message "cs: socket 0 timed out during reset". Cardctl status gives [busy] [wp] However, sometimes (very rarely) the reset works and everything is fine. THe same problem occurs in Win95/98. Other modem and network cards work fine. As the card works fine in my old laptop, the problem seems to be related to the interaction between the card and the controller. Probe returns a TI 1220, I'm using redhat 6.2 which contains pcmcia 3.1.8 Any hints how to debug this problem ? I tried playing with the reset time, but no luck. Thanks, Mark
