I think it is fixed in newer drivers

I just tried 3.1.14 and the problem remains. (make all, make install, lilo, and reboot should do it right ?) Thanks for the fast response though ! Mark

Oh, then it isn't the simple problem I hoped it was. Since you say the problem also exists in Windows 98, and other cards work fine, that leads me to suspect that there is a bad hardware interaction here and you may just be out of luck. -- Dave
