Check your system log. Have you tried configuring the network interface with "netconf"? You will get a low beep until you enter some network settings. -- Dave

Even when I remove the the network cable I still get a low beep. This never happened to me before. I had Linux installed using this card with out a network hook-up and I never got a low beep. All I am trying to connect to is a shared printer, not really a network. Pam
