I don't know what you mean by "share a printer". Share with what? Is this a printer that directly connects to the network, or a printer hooked up to another computer? If you intend to transfer data over this ethernet card for any purpose, you have to assign an IP address to your computer. You almost certainly don't want to be using BOOTP for this. I think this is really just a basic network setup question, and not a PCMCIA problem. It might be best to check through a book (or the HOWTO's) for help about how to configure networking. -- Dave |
