When using the ethernet, check your system log to make sure you're not getting any error messages (look for "interrupt(s) dropped" messages, specifically). I'm not sure how the interrupt could be blocked for just the modem. There is a kernel bug in the 2.2.10 serial driver that can cause problems with multifunction cards (it is documented in the PCMCIA BUGS file) but if that was your problem, you should be seeing error messages whenever you try to use the port. -- Dave |
