It was listed in 3.0.9 because, as I said, someone gave me a bogus success report. It never worked. Since the card has been non-working for ages, it seems unlikely to get fixed. -- Dave

I would love to get the card working in linux and so if there is anything i can do to help then i will give it a go. I know C, but have never written device drivers. Do we know if it is supposedly NE2000 compatible? Would we need any data specs from the company? Cheers Mike

It is not NE2000 compatible; if it were, then the pcnet_cs driver would have worked. I don't think we have any information about what chipset the card uses. You could try to acquire this information from the vendor. You are pretty much on your own on this. I'm not much interested in spending a lot of time developing a new driver for an obscure card; I have enough work to do maintaining the drivers that already exist. I'd advise you that your best course of action would probably be to suck it up and buy a card that is listed as working under Linux. But if you have an interest in driver development and lots of time on your hands, go ahead and give it a shot. -- Dave

Well i am intersted indriver development but not ver knowledge able. I may give it a go and see what i can do. Just one more thing. The only data i have says the processor is an Intel 82585TX. Does this help give any indication of the chipset used? cheers Mike
