So it isn't clear from this what your problem is. You say you have not tested the network. I take it that when the modem is identified as an 8250, it doesn't work, but after you changed the "bind" line, it was identified as a 16550 and did work? Can I see the system log messages for the card in both situations? If you have a low beep, then there *is* an error message from cardmgr in your system log: I guarantee it. -- Dave |
