Question: DFE-650 Cannot read hardware net address

I have read all the material I can and fiddled as much as I can and yet I still can't get my DFE-650 pc card working on my laptop. It was identified as Anonymous then I fiddled with the config.opts and get the identity recognised and the correct module loading but I get pcnet_cs: unable to read net address I have PC Card Services v3.1.8 Kernel 2.2.14-12 Redhat 6.2 Intel PCIC i82365sl B step ISA-to-PCMCIA at port 0x3e0 ofs 0x00, 2 sockets Anything else helpful?
