Each individual network client driver is responsible for implementing multicast filtering. I suspect that this capability is generally not very well tested (if tested at all). So I am not surprised to hear that it doesn't seem to work for the drivers you tried. It would be nice to figure out exactly which drivers have working multicast filtering, and try to fix the ones that don't. I don't have a trivial way of testing drivers for this but I'll look into it. -- Dave
