No... you don't need/want either the aha152x or aic7xxx drivers in your kernel. The driver you are missing is the SCSI disk driver (CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SD), not the driver for the host adapter. Look at /proc/devices and see if there is an entry for "sd". That indicates if the SCSI disk driver is present. -- Dave |
