I am running Mandrake 7.0 on a Tecra 700CT. I have tried to install PCMCIA services with both the original files and a new version 3.1.15. I continue to receive the following message in my logs: Jun 26 21:09:53 localhost pcmcia: Starting PCMCIA services: Jun 26 21:09:53 localhost pcmcia: modules Jun 26 21:09:53 localhost kernel: Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.9 Jun 26 21:09:53 localhost kernel: kernel build: 2.2.14-15mdk #1 Tue Jan 4 22:24:20 CET 2000 Jun 26 21:09:53 localhost kernel: options: [pci] [cardbus] [apm] Jun 26 21:09:54 localhost kernel: Intel PCIC probe: <5> Bad bridge mapping at 0xffeff000! Are the "Bad bridge mapping" and the "no devices in /proc" related, or do I have two problems on my hands? Any ideas, or is this what I get for buying a Toshiba? |
