Sad: Lucent WaveLAN/IEEE Silver card does not obtain IP address form Access Point

Hi everyone, I'm trying to connect a Lucent WaveLAN/IEEE sliver pcmcia card to my Access Point. Running iwconfig, I can see my Access Point and its associated MAC address. However, the Access Point will not lease out an IP address either statically or via DHCP. The Lucent and Access Point are in the same IP range 192.168.5.1 (AP) 192.168.5.8 (Lucent WaveLAN) netmask 255.255.255.0 On the Access Point side, I can see the MAC address of the of the Lucent card. Any help would be great. By the way, I'm using the wvlan_cs driver with the card. P.S. I also have an Orinoco base that I'd like to connect to. Any suggestions would be great.
