I would like to use the Apple Airport cards in an intel PC
or laptop. In Jean_Tourrilhes excellent wireless writeup,
it says the cabletron Wavelan cards are the same as
the Airport, but
>Note that the interface doesn't seem to be Pcmcia compatible > even is the connector is the same, so this card can't be > used in the normal PC-Card slot of other laptops Having looked at the apple card, it certainly LOOKS like a standard PCMCIA card piggy-backed onto some MAC carrier. It doesn't make sense to me that it would be different. Has anyone actually tried the apple card in a laptop? The Apple cards are significantly cheaper, and when you are buying a lot of them, the cost is very significant. -Kelly Murray kem@htrd.com
