Dear all,

I have a pair of WaveLAN IEEE (silver) cards installed in my laptop (Toshiba 300CT) and a desktop (P 133), but the values of link layer status are all zero at /proc/net/wireless. Except this, everything works fine... (ping, telnet, etc)

I attempted to use both wvlan_cs and wavelan2 drivers, they both had the same problem.

Now if I changed the cards to be the old WaveLAN, its link layer status was shown in /proc/net/wireless without any problem!!

Did I miss something??

I am using: - redhat 6.2 - kernel 2.2.14 (with CONFIG_NET_RADIO=y) - pcmcia_cs 3.1.14 - wireless_tools 20

At /etc/pcmcia/config.opts, I use the fault values: module "wvlan_cs" opts "port_type=3 channel=1 station_name=MY_PC"

Thanks in advance for your suggestions...

Cheers, Jonathan
