I have two Lucent WaveLAN/IEEE Turbo 11Mb cards. Recently I've updated firmware on one of it from v4.52 to v6.04 And for now, pcmcia-cs's wvlan_cs driver unable to startup it: wavelan2_cs driver has problems too (on both cards) - see thread 16 (not sure about number) kernel: Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.14 kernel: kernel build: 2.2.14 #1 Tue Apr 18 10:11:28 EEST 2000 kernel: options: [pci] [cardbus] kernel: PCI routing table version 1.0 at 0xfdf10 kernel: Intel PCIC probe: kernel: TI 1225 rev 01 PCI-to-CardBus at slot 00:10, mem 0xea000000 kernel: host opts [0]: [pci only] [pci irq 10] [lat 64/176] [bus 188/0] kernel: host opts [1]: [pci only] [pci irq 10] [lat 64/176] [bus 192/0] kernel: PCI card interrupts, PCI status changes cardmgr[757]: starting, version is 3.1.14 cardmgr[757]: watching 2 sockets kernel: cs: IO port probe 0x1000-0x17ff: clean. kernel: cs: IO port probe 0x0100-0x04ff: excluding 0x290-0x297 0x4d0-0x4d7 kernel: cs: IO port probe 0x0a00-0x0aff: clean. cardmgr[757]: initializing socket 0 kernel: cs: memory probe 0xa0000000-0xa0ffffff: clean. cardmgr[757]: socket 0: Lucent Technologies WaveLAN/IEEE Adapter cardmgr[757]: executing: 'insmod /lib/modules/2.2.14/pcmcia/wvlan_cs.o port_type kernel: wvlan_cs: WaveLAN/IEEE PCMCIA driver v1.0.4 kernel: wvlan_cs: (c) Andreas Neuhaus <andy@fasta.fh-dortmund.de> kernel: wvlan_cs: index 0x01: Vcc 5.0, irq 10, io 0x0100-0x013f kernel: wvlan_cs: Registered netdevice wvlan0 kernel: wvlan_cs: Initialization failed! cardmgr[757]: executing: './network start wvlan0' |
