Hi,
we want to install a pci adaptor card and wavelan turbo card on a Dell 2400 server. The adaptor uses the T1225 chip. We are getting following complaints in /var/log/messages :
May 18 12:51:56 callisto pcmcia: Starting PCMCIA services: May 18 12:51:56 callisto pcmcia: modules May 18 12:51:56 callisto kernel: Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.14 May 18 12:51:56 callisto kernel: kernel build: 2.2.13-0.13smp #1 SMP Tue Jan 11 13:26:01 EST 2000 May 18 12:51:56 callisto kernel: options: [pci] May 18 12:51:56 callisto kernel: PCI routing table version 1.0 at 0xfc330 May 18 12:51:56 callisto kernel: unknown PCI interrupt router 1166:0200 May 18 12:51:56 callisto kernel: Intel PCIC probe: not found. I looked in the code a bit and found that only intel, one via and some ali pci irq routers are supported. lspci gives following output : [root@callisto modules]# /sbin/lspci 00:00.0 Host bridge: Pequr Technology: Unknown device 0009 (rev 05) 00:00.1 Host bridge: Pequr Technology: Unknown device 0009 (rev 05) 00:02.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation: Unknown device 0962 (rev 01) 00:08.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82557 (rev 08) 00:0e.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc: Unknown device 4759 (rev 7a) 00:0f.0 ISA bridge: Pequr Technology: Unknown device 0200 (rev 4f)01:04.0 SCSI storage controller: Adaptec 7890 (rev 01) 01:06.0 SCSI storage controller: Adaptec AIC-7880U (rev 01) 02:06.0 SCSI storage controller: Adaptec 2940U2 02:0a.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. 8139 (rev 10)[root@callisto modules]# Any suggestions ? Can I add myself some code to do the init and links in the pci_fixup.c file to this Pequr thing ? Or could I cheat and change the codes to for example and intel thing (perhaps they are compatible ?) Or am I missing the point completely here ? Greetings !
