The Lucent driver required a patch to work with PCI-to-CardBus card readers and I thought I had a report of trouble with the wvlan_cs driver in this configuration that went away with the new Lucent driver. But I haven't actually used either driver (and don't have any Wavelan cards) so that information may have been incorrect. If the cards seem to work fine, I wouldn't worry about it. The older Lucent driver would wedge the system at card configuration time, so you would know it if you had the same issue. -- Dave |
