Most 802.11 MAC protocol are optimised for TCP traffic. For example, in my opinion, the number of MAC retries in the Wavelan is not sufficient for UDP. And let's not forget about broadcast which is totally crap over Wireless... And guess what ? Sun designed NFS over UDP... Solution ? Use NFSv3, aka NFS over TCP... Jean
