  As Proxim has hijacked the HomeRF standard, the Symphony line is supposed to migrate sooner or later to SWAP. Intel is a strong supporter of SWAP. Moreover, the Anypoint Pcmcia card just look like a Symphony card from Proxim.
  If you go on my page, you'll find a link to the Symphony driver. However, there is a fair probability that the driver doesn't support these newest cards (ask Dave). USB is probably not supported, because Linux still has some immaturity there...
  If you want solutions that are well supported under Linux, have a look at the list on my web page...
