Is there anyone out there who knows how to reduce the signal strength of Lucent wavelan cards by software? We're about to perform some tests of Ad-Hoc routing protocols on the University where I am currently employed, but with a range of 200 meters it won't work very well.
It seems to make sense to me that there might be some parameters to set in order to reduce range - would at least be useful for Lucent technicians while testing. This is unfortunately the kind of feature that is not covered in your average user manual... :-)
