Hi!
I have a problem:

my Silver WaveLAN/IEEE does not work with wvlan_cs driver.
Driver says:

Jun 29 20:56:53 flux kernel: wvlan_cs: WaveLAN/IEEE PCMCIA driver v1.0.4
Jun 29 20:56:53 flux kernel: wvlan_cs: (c) Andreas Neuhaus <andy@fasta.fh-dortmund.de>
Jun 29 20:56:53 flux kernel: wvlan_cs: index 0x01: Vcc 5.0, irq 3, io 0x0100-0x013f
Jun 29 20:56:53 flux kernel: wvlan_cs: Registered netdevice wvlan0 Jun 29 20:56:53 flux kernel: wvlan_cs: Initialization failed!
Jun 29 20:57:24 flux kernel: wvlan_cs: wvlan0 Tx timed out! Resetting card
Jun 29 20:57:24 flux kernel: wvlan_cs: Initialization failed!

ifconfig says:

wvlan0 Linkverkapselung:Ethernet HWaddr 00:00:00:00:00:00
          inet addr:192.168.5.241 Bcast:192.168.5.255 Maske:255.255.255.0

          Kollisionen:0 Sendewarteschlangenlänge:100
          Basisadresse:0x100

(sorry, my locale is german)

output from iwconfig looks fine:

wvlan0 IEEE 802.11-DS ESSID:"non-specified SSID !!" Nickname:"flux"
          Frequency:2.422GHz Sensitivity:1/3 Mode:Ad-Hoc
          Access Point: 00:00:00:00:00:00
          Bit Rate:2Mb/s RTS thr:off Fragment thr=2347 B
          Encryption key:off
          Power Management:off
          Link quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
          Rx invalid nwid:0 invalid crypt:0 invalid misc:0

Actually, i'd like to drive my wireless network with encoding and only this driver can do this to my card.

wavelan2_cs (ver. 6.00) works, but i can not use encryption with it.

I use Debian woody with 2.2.15 kernel, wireless utilities v20, pcmcia 3.1.15.

I will be thankfull for any help.
Leo
