Hi everybody !
I am trying to install a Xircom CBE2-100BTX, on my Laptop (a Thinkpad IBM 1400, with Redhat 6.0) my card seems to be recognised, here is the log from /var/log/messages : (sorry for the formating of the log messages !) Jul 16:03:18 localhost kernel: tulip_attach(bus 32, function 0) Jul 8 16:03:18 localhost kernel: tulip.c:v0.91 4/14/99 becker@cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov (modified by danilo@cs.uni-magdeburg.de for XIRCOM CBE, fixed by Doug Ledford) Jul 8 16:03:18 localhost kernel: eth0: Xircom Cardbus Adapter (DEC 21143 compatible mode) rev 3 at 0xa00, 00:10:A4:BC:D7:64, IRQ 3. Jul 8 16:03:18 localhost kernel: XIRCOM init But when I try to connect to my ISP with DSL, with a script called start-pppoe (which issue among other things an ifconfig eth0 0.0.0.0 up -broadcast -arp) I get the following messages in /var/log/messges :

I understand, that according to "Linux PCMCIA Supported Device List" of 2000/06/23, the XIRCOM CBE2-100BTX is still experimental ! but maybe someone has already solved this problem. Thanks for reading Khalid HASSANI
