You might try reconfiguring the PCMCIA drivers with "PnP BIOS support" enabled. Then look at the output of "lspnp -v" to get a detailed resource listing for all your devices. Regarding installing the new PCMCIA drivers, go to the 3.1.19 directory and do "make config" again and carefully check the output. I suspect that you've got some sort of mismatch between your kernel tree and the kernel you're running. You can also run the "test_setup" script in the debug-tools directory. > modprobe: Can't locate module block-major-22 My guess is that this message has nothing to do with the network device.
