Sad: RB100 - ping itself ok, ping outside no response, arp no h/w address

hi, I have just upgraded from RedHat 6.0 to 6.2 Then upgraded kernel to 2.2.16 and pcmcia package to 3.1.19 The system and pcmcia boot up normally and successfully, eth0 come up successfully. The xircom realport cardbus 10/100+56 can ping its own IP address. But when it fails to ping an IP on the LAN. Typing "arp -a" even shows incomplete hardware address. I've also tried changing the "pcmcia" startup script order with "network" - no improvements. I've tried using pcmcia 3.1.8 with my new kernel - no improvements. I used to use kernel 2.2.9 and pcmcia 3.0.12 before. Everything is working fine. I can now boot back this old kernel with old pcmcia package. The LAN card work normally when booted back. Any idea? Any body here successfully in making it with 2.2.16 & 3.1.19? Regards, Alan
