I finally got annoyed enough with this to try to figure out what was wrong. There are two problems; one is that the driver was not setting the NIC for full duplex operation, the other is that even when that is fixed, the chip still reports bogus carrier errors. Try the 01-Sep-00 beta on projects.sourceforge.net in /pub/pcmcia-cs/NEW. -- Dave
