This may be part of a known issue with NWay. The auto detect feature tends to fail on some hubs and switches if Duplex (half/full) and speed (10/100) are both forced. One of the setting must be left to auto for the Nway negoiation to occur. If both are forced some devices just fall back to a default and you do not get the speed you wanted, or possible a failed network connection all together.

I am not sure what NWay is...

I am not forcing any of the modes, It appears to get 100FDX when the interface comes up then somehow the link lights go down again and when they come back up it is only at HDX. I am wondering if it is something to do with pump or if it is the driver. I have however tried it without using pump and the noted the following, as soon as I plug in the RealPort card into the pcmcia socket I get all three lights on the switch (link,100,FDX). The first beep is heard and all seems ok, then all three lights go out and the second beep is heard.

Hope this helps, I am running STD RH6.2 I did try the latest pcmcia modules but it didn't make a difference.

Possible solution
