Depends on what you mean by "supported"

Forum: Xircom PCMCIA Ethernet Adapter Issues
Re: Question: Is RBEM56G 10/100 Ethernet + Modem 56 supported? (Stefan Kluth)
Date: 2000, Jan 26
From: David Hinds <dhinds@pcmcia.sourceforge.org>

The card is listed in the SUPPORTED.CARDS file as "not recommended:
support is experimental and unreliable". It seems to work for some
people but not others.

Does the modem part work?

This tulip driver is OLDER than the code in the 3.1.8 PCMCIA driver
package. The options that are missing in the standard tulip_cb.c file
are missing because they are no longer needed.

Reinstall the 3.1.8 tulip driver, then post more details (type of
laptop, system log messages) if the problem persists.
