I've tried to make the tulip driver hot-eject-safe, however it is hard to anticipate all possible failure modes. In general it is more wise to do "cardctl eject" or at least "ifconfig down" the interface first. There is no fix for the suspend/resume problem at this time. The issue is that the resume code in the tulip driver needs to do a full reset of the card, and the tulip initialization code is sufficiently baroque that I've had a tough time rearranging the driver to make this work. -- Dave |
