If you are using a stock Red Hat setup, you should use netconf to
configure the interface. As mentioned in the HOWTO, network.opts is
not recognized by Red Hat's version of the PCMCIA network script.
After booting, check your system log, and the output of ifconfig and
route, to see what was done. Or see if "ifup eth0" works.
