Question: Xircom CE2 not identified on Toshiba 4030CDT

Hi.

I'm having trouble getting cardmgr to identify my CE2 at boot time. Everything seems to come up OK, although I get a high/low beep and "cardctl ident" gives me "product info not available".

If I eject and then insert the card (using cardctl eject and cardctl insert) cardmgr has no trouble identifying it as a Xircom CE2, and it all seems to work normally. Suspend and resume also work, but reset does not.

I've tried putting calls to cardctl in etc/rc.d/rc.local to force the issue at boot time, but it doesn't work.

I have a Toshiba 4030CDT, kernel 2.2.14 and cs-3.1.13.

Any ideas?

Tony
