There is a section in the PCMCIA-HOWTO specifically to help diagnose startup problems like this. You should also check the linux laptops page to see if anyone has seen (and fixed) similar problems with this particular laptop. If the instructions in the HOWTO don't help, then a driver upgrade might be the next thing to try. -- Dave |
