Question: Xircom RBEM56G-100 stalls

I've got a Dell Inspiron 3700 running Red Hat 6.1. When I use my RBEM56G-100 as a modem, it stalls when downloading big files, but doesn't seem to choke on small files or low-bandwidth websites. I istalled pcmcia-cs-3.1.13, but it didn't clear up the problem.   Is this covered in the PCMCIA-HOWTO, and did I just miss it? -Sebastien Bailard
