You should normally get two beeps with the driver loading once: the first beep indicates "card was identified" and the second beep indicates "card was configured". If the log indicates the driver was loaded twice, then that's a problem. But since this is a Toshiba chipset, I'm inclined to say "sorry, just deal with it"; these chips behave strangely and I don't have adequate documentation. And there are multiple chip versions that I don't know how to distinguish. -- Dave |
