How to turn off PM of PCMCIA?

I use Xircom REM56 with IBM Thinkpad 570. I run RH6.0 kernel 2.2.12. Suspend-resume leaves PCMCIA card unusable. Have to reboot! So, is there a way to turn off power management of the PCMCIA card alone? Thanks, Balu
