Your /etc/pcmcia/config.opts file lets you specify interrupts that
should not be used for PCMCIA cards.  It sounds like you need to add
"exclude irq 3" to that file.

If irq 9 doesn't work, then add an "exclude irq 9" line also.
Hopefully you'll find one that works before you run out of interrupts.
