I was curious as to wether or not some of the driver issues have been ironed out.
NT had the same problem as I have now and was forcing the card to 100/FDX and not autonegotiating even though it is supposed to be 100/FDX. One of the tell tale lines when I do an ifconfig is this:
TX packets:274 errors:4853 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:4853
There are no errors when the driver gets loaded. I am now running Mandrake 7.1 and the modem finally works. The laptop is a Dell Latitude CPx 500.
Any help is greatly appreciated
