RE-100 not init on startup

I have a RE-100 10/100 realport card which was not working under linux until I got the latest PCMCIA package. Now, whenever i boot the init of eth0 fails. To get the card to work I have to eject the card, put it back in and run "/etc/pcmcia/network.O start eth0". I havent tried the card at 100mb, but I dont really care about speed YET, I just want it to work... any help apprieciated. Thanks heaps regards David
