hi there. I am running Red Hat 6.2 on an IBM Thinkpad 600e. If my RBE-100 is inserted when I boot up the system freezes around the sendmail startup point. If I boot up without the card, it all starts fine, however if I insert the card at any time after that,I hear 1 beep and the system freezes.
Here's an excerpt of the log. "Jul 6 17:17:29 localhost keytable: Loading system font: Jul 6 17:17:29 localhost rc: Starting keytable succeeded Jul 6 17:17:30 localhost sendmail: sendmail startup succeeded Jul 6 17:17:31 localhost gpm: gpm startup succeeded Jul 6 17:17:33 localhost httpd: httpd startup succeeded Jul 6 17:17:35 localhost xfs: xfs startup succeeded Jul 6 17:17:36 localhost linuxconf: Linuxconf final setup Jul 6 17:17:37 localhost rc: Starting linuxconf succeeded Jul 6 17:19:46 localhost ifup: Delaying eth1 initialization. I'm sure I must be missing something basic. Hope you can help me..
